If you're planning on going to Shanghai next week for the golden week.
You are not alone.
The city is expecting to host 4 million tourists during the week-long
National Day holiday.
About 64 percent of the rooms in the city's hotels have been booked and
72 percent of the rooms in guesthouses.
October 3rd is looking like the peak day as the booking ratio of hotel
rooms reaches 70 percent and guesthouse rooms hits 75 percent occupancy.
Other popular spots in China for next week include Sanya in Hainan
Province, and Wuyi Mountain in Fujian Province.
This year's Middle-Autumn Festival and the Shanghai Tourism Festival both
occur during the National Day holiday which is of course from October 1st
to 7th.
